Itinerary

Day 1 - Depart USA

Board your overnight flight to Cairo. 

Day 2 - Cairo

Arrive in Cairo, one of the largest cities in Africa. You will be me by our representative who will assist you through immigration and customs processing and transfer you to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 - Cairo - City Tour & Pyramids Tour Included

Breakfast then drive to the Egyptian Museum to see the remarkable collection of antiquities including statues, reliefs, sarcophagi and the treasures of King Tut Ankh Amoun. After we have a local lunch, drive to Giza to experience one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Pyramids and the famous Sphinx and the temple nearby.  And then drive to see a panoramic view of the 3 pyramids together.

Day 4 - Cairo – Aswan – Nile Cruise

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan, upon arrival we will visit the temple of Philae, the home of the Egyptian goddess Isis and then transfer to your Nile cruise ship for the next three nights. Enjoy lunch and free time onboard the ship.

Day 5 - Nile Cruise - Aswan – Kom ombo – Edfu

Today participate in an optional tour driving south through the land of Nubia to reach ABU – SIMBEL where we visit the great temples of Ramsis the great and His wife Queen Nefertiti. These great monuments were cut out of the mountain in 1290 BC. The UNISCO spend $40 Million in 1964 to safe these temples as they would have been submerged completely by the huge lake that was created as they were building the High Dam in the southern part of Egypt during that time. We will drive back to Aswan to our cruise boat for lunch.  Afternoon we sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple of Kom-Ombo that was built in 227 BC, dedicated to gods Sobek the Crocodile God, you may be able to see the mummified crocodiles newly opened in the area, and God Haroeris as well. Sail to Edfu.

Day 6 - Nile Cruise – Edfu – Esna – Luxor

Buffet Breakfast on board. We will visit the temple of HOURUS dedicated to the Falcon God. This is the best preserved temple in the world that was built in 258 BC. After the visit, we will come back to the cruise boat and start sailing to Luxor Via Esna Locks. Evening visit to Luxor Temple that was built 1500 BC.Overnight on board of the cruise ship in Luxor.

Day 7 - Luxor - Cairo

After breakfast, our tour to  the West bank of the Nile, will include the two Colossi of Memnon, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari and Valley of kings, where the great monarchs of Egypt buried in rock cut tombs beautifully decorated with chapters from the  Book of the Dead. After that we will visit the largest temple in the world. The great temple of Karnak dedicated to the God Amon -Ra.  Late afternoon flight to Cairo, check-in and overnight in Cairo.

Day 8 - Cairo - Sakkara Tour Included

After breakfast we will visit Old Cairo where you can visit the Oldest Churches in the World and where the Holy family took refuge during their flight to Egypt, also the site of the oldest synagogue in Cairo.  After lunch we drive to Sakarrah to visit the Step Pyramid of king Zosr, by far the oldest pyramid in Egypt and its complex which is the oldest stone structure in the history of man, then we drive to hotel for overnight Cairo.

Day 9 - Cairo - Full Day Excursion to Alexandria

An early morning start after a good breakfast in your hotel, you travel through the Western Desert to Alexandria the Bride of the Mediterranean and the main harbor of Egypt. The arrival is early enough to sightseeing the magnificent land marks of Alexandria and it historical sites. The sightseeing including the Fort of Qaitbey, the former site of the ancient Alexandria Light house, the Biblotica Alexandrina (the Library of Alexandria) and the Ancient Roman theatre. Lunch will be served by the Azure Mediterranean before you travel back to Cairo for overnight at your hotel.

TRAVELER REGISTRATION: After you complete your booking, you'll receive an email with access to your online account to complete your registration for this package. You must complete the traveler registration within 24 hours of your booking or by your final payment due date, whichever is earlier. If we do not receive this promptly, your booking may be subject to additional fees and/or cancellation.

CONFIRMATION: After we receive your reservation and deposit we will confirm availability of all components and send you a confirmation email within 1–2 business days. If upon confirmation, any option or component you selected is no longer available, you may cancel your booking and receive a refund on your deposit, which is otherwise non-refundable.

NOTE: Once your package is confirmed, the package price is guaranteed unless changes are requested

NAME CHANGES: Due to TSA Secure Flight regulations and airline requirements, you must provide us the names of all travelers, including titles such as Jr. or Sr. and any multiple first, middle or last names, exactly as they appear on each passport. These are typically collected on our registration form. Any errors could prevent boarding of flights or entry to some countries and/or necessitate the purchase of new airfare. After you submit the registration form, any name changes (due to errors, marriage, or other reasons) should be reported us immediately, and are subject to a $50 per-change fee by Mainly Vacations, in addition to any supplier fees 

FINAL PAYMENT: If any balance is due after making your booking, you must pay this balance at least 60 days prior to departure, or within 72 hours of your booking if you book after this date.  Late payments are subject to a $50 late payment fee. If your final payment is more than 15 days late, your reservation will be automatically canceled and your deposit will be forfeited.

To make your payment with your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) log into our secure portal and click on the make a payment tap. If you prefer, you may instead print our credit card authorization form (also included with your invoice), complete and sign it, and fax or mail it to us so that we receive it by the payment due date.

To make your payment by check (cashier's check or money order only for final payment), make it out to Mainly Vacations for the amount indicated on your invoice and mail it to our office address (by overnight delivery, if necessary) so that we receive it by the payment due date.
